Service Description
Private 60-minute online viola lessons designed for intermediate and advanced students who already understand basic string technique and can practice independently. These lessons focus on refining viola technique, developing a richer and more resonant sound, improving musical interpretation, and preparing repertoire at a higher level. Instruction may include tone production, bow control, intonation, shifting, vibrato, alto clef reading, scales, etudes, repertoire, phrasing, performance preparation, and audition coaching. Lessons are suitable for: Intermediate and advanced viola students School and youth orchestra musicians Students with previous private lesson experience Violinists who have already begun transitioning to viola Students preparing for auditions, competitions, or performances Adult violists who already have a technical foundation Online lessons are not intended for complete beginners. Students should already be comfortable holding the instrument, reading music, producing a basic sound, and practicing independently. Students need a viola, music stand, current repertoire, reliable internet connection, and a device positioned so the instructor can clearly see the student’s posture, bow arm, and left hand. Each lesson is carefully structured around the student’s current level, repertoire, goals, and areas for development. 60 min Lesson Rate: $75
Cancellation Policy
🎻 Booking & Lesson Policy Thank you for your interest in working with Sendi Vartanovi—whether through musical collaboration, event booking, or private instruction. The following guidelines are in place to ensure clear communication, mutual respect, and a smooth experience for all. ✨ Performance & Collaboration Policy ▸ Booking Inquiries All requests for concerts, creative collaborations, or special events must be submitted through the contact form or email. Please include the date, location, project details, and any relevant technical needs. ▸ Availability & Scheduling Dates are confirmed based on availability and artistic compatibility. For large-scale performances or collaborations, early outreach (4–8 weeks in advance) is encouraged. ▸ Fees & Contracts Performance rates are determined based on repertoire, travel, rehearsal time, and artistic scope. A personalized quote will be provided. For most engagements, a written agreement and deposit (typically 30–50%) are required to secure the booking. ▸ Cancellations Cancellations made by the client within 10 days of the scheduled event may incur a cancellation fee. Exceptions may be granted in cases of force majeure or medical emergency. 🎻 Private Lesson Policy ▸ Lesson Availability Violin and viola lessons are available for all ages and levels. Lessons may be scheduled weekly, biweekly, or as one-time sessions. In-person and online options are available, depending on location and calendar. ▸ Lesson Rates Rates are available upon request and vary by duration (30, 45, or 60 minutes). Discounted packages may be available for monthly commitments. ▸ Cancellations & Rescheduling To respect both student and teacher time, at least 24 hours’ notice is required for lesson cancellations or rescheduling. Last-minute cancellations may be billed in full, unless due to illness or emergency. ▸ Payment Payment is due at the time of the lesson or at the beginning of each month for recurring students.
